Paris trip

Paris trip 26/feb - 02/mar

Know paris was a dream of my daughter and my, which was possible to be done in that period. Paris is a wonderful city full of interesting things to know. As our remained would not be too long we had to select some places to visit.

Upon arriving at the airport Charles Gaulle, we move to the center of Paris using the metro ( RER ), the offset is very fast and easy. Got off at the station nearly Eiffel Tower, after a few steps we can already see the giant tower, as was already dusk, was fully lit, wonderful.

Disneyland

On the second day we took a metro (RER A) and went to Eurodisney, bought a ticket entitled to visit the two parks: Disneyland (European version of the Californian park) and Walt Disney Studios. The two parks are very nice, has many toys, interesting scenarios to know and souvenir shops. To access some toys had to wait in long lines.

After we went to visit the Basilica of Sacre-Coeur, is very well located in a very high point of the city and allows take beautiful photos. Nearby, there are also many souvenirs shops with lower prices.

The trip to paris gave us a few moments of reflection: As the population people walk in a hurry through the streets and metro stations, everything looks very dynamic and run. In train stations basically you buy your ticket in machines, at one point I got a subway station to ask for information and was surprised that the clerk spoke only in French, I decided my way, I spoke English and he answered in French the signs helped a lot. On the train my daughter was surprised in three stages: 1) the train door closes in people, seem to lack any sensor to prevent this type of accident. 2) at times the trains were crowded; 3) there was an accident with a man on a treadmill and he fell to the bottom of the ladder and climbed fallen again and people had to run to try to help have not seen any kind of device to stop the escalator.
I learned with this trip to seek information on maps and to interpret the train routes. Use different ways to communicate when the languages are not common and basically planning your trip, you must know where you want to go at all times and which can be visited near the sites planned in order to save money and time.
